ArcheAge Chronicles Languages and Localization Status

Check ArcheAge Chronicles interface, subtitle and audio language support on Steam, and distinguish current localization from requests and future plans.

    AT A GLANCE

The Steam demo lists English, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese; Korean is the only full-audio language shown. Epic’s product page separately lists Japanese text among its planned supported languages, but Japanese was not in the four-language demo announcement.

    Steam listing and demo languages

The Steam product page lists English, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese for interface and subtitles. Korean is the only full-audio language marked there. XLGAMES’ demo letter says the public demo supports those same four languages.

    Is Japanese supported?

Japanese is not included in the four-language Steam demo announcement. The Epic Games Store page separately lists Japanese text for the planned product. Keep those scopes distinct: an Epic storefront language field does not mean Japanese was available in the Steam demo.

    Current build versus future localization

Language tables can change before release and can differ between storefronts. The sources checked do not include an official promise to add every requested community language to the demo. Recheck the selected store page before installing and treat player requests as requests, not announcements.
